Process Flow:
Copper rice machine, professionally known as waste wire and cable recycling equipment, is a machine used to efficiently separate and recycle the metal (mainly copper) and plastic sheath in waste wires and cables.
Airflow Sorting: This method exploits the significant difference in density and aerodynamic properties between copper and plastic. In a controlled airflow, lighter plastic particles are blown away, while heavier copper particles fall due to gravity, achieving separation. This method is simple, low-cost, and suitable for processing coarse copper rice.
High-Voltage Electrostatic Sorting: This is the mainstream technology used in mid- to high-end copper rice mills. It utilizes the different electrical conductivity of copper and plastic in a high-voltage electrostatic field. Charged copper particles are quickly attracted to the electrodes, while insulating plastic particles are driven by inertia, resulting in precise separation. This method achieves extremely high sorting efficiency and purity (both exceeding 99%), and produces no wastewater, making it more environmentally friendly.
Dust Removal and Purification: The crushing and sorting processes generate a significant amount of dust. TONTEN copper rice mills are typically equipped with a two-stage dust removal system, such as a cyclone separator + pulse bag filter. The cyclone separator first collects larger particles, while the bag filter filters fine dust, ensuring emissions meet environmental standards and protecting the working environment.
